Robin Devroe is a junior researcher at the Department of Political Sciences of Ghent University. She holds a master’s degree in Political Sciences (2013, Ghent University) and a master’s degree in Public Management and Public Policy (2014, Ghent University). Her main research interest is the study of political representation, voting behavior and gender. She currently works on a PhD project (2015-2019) concerning the political representation of women. Her aim is to identify the presence of gender stereotypes in Belgium. Thereby she will analyze how the list position of a candidate intervenes with gender cues and what kind of voters are more prone to hold gender stereotypes.
