Claudio Ferraz is an Associate Professor of Economics and the Itaú-Unibanco Chair of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His research focuses on economic development in Latin America: corruption, electoral accountability, and political motivation. He is also interested in applied econometrics and public economies. Claudio received his PhD in political science from University of California, Berkeley in 2006. He also worked as a consultant to the World Bank from 2007-2011.
